Customized Employment

Career Discovery will offer complimentary “meet and greets” for the individual and her/his family to explain services and expectations to the family to help them determine if Career Discovery is a proper fit for their goals and needs. Career Discovery will focus on completing the Customized Employment (CE) process within a 5-8 week period to emulate the length of time that individual seeking services may require to become familiar and comfortable with her/his new employer. This process will help the individual move towards their employment goals in a quicker manner, and will help eliminate a drawn out, exhausting process that VRS has been experiencing the past year. Career Discovery will remain in contact with the VRS Counselor to ensure all team members are “up to speed” as to where the process is going, and what progresses have been made.
